I love the idea that employees can discover adjacent work and ask the boss for approval. Curious how teams are structuring that in practice.

We let the monitoring employee send short proposals with impact, owner suggestion, and urgency. The boss can approve or reroute in one pass.

Monitoring is a great first role because it proves the reporting loop quickly. My second employee is usually the web or ticketing fixer.
